Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Like everyone, we have been closely monitoring the news of COVID-19. The health and safety of our families, clients and staff have always been a top priority for us and, as the potential for the virus to reach Brevard County increases, we are introducing additional measures to maintain the safety of our clients based on CDC recommendations for minimizing the spread of coronavrus (COVID-19).

Every client who enters the clinic must wash their hands thoroughly prior to beginning their session and again at the end of the session, before leaving the clinic. All working and handling surfaces, such as tabletops, mats, bathroom surfaces, doorknobs and light fixtures are being cleaned multiple times a day.

Play for Real will remain open and continue to provide services to you for the time being. We have always asked that you cancel sessions if your child has a fever, but especially ask that you cancel sessions if any of the following apply:

  • You, your child, or anyone close to you may have been exposed to someone who is symptomatic or has been tested positive for COVID-19 at school or at home, even if no one is symptomatic.
  • You, your child, or anyone close to you has a fever and/or symptoms of upper respiratory infection, even if you believe their symptoms are due to allergy.

We are keeping abreast of the situation with incoming news and will continue to implement measures as recommended by The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local emergency responders. We are hopeful that these measures will afford us all increased safety and relatively more peace of mind.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and flexibility as we work together to support your family and our community.

Warmly,

Peter and Lyn Bennett
