Coronavirus – Play for Real Transitioning to Telemedicine Services

Coronavirus – Play for Real Transitioning to Telemedicine Services

With confirmed cases of COVID-19 rising in Brevard and more families understandably choosing to stay at home, we made the decision to close the clinic for onsite services at the close of business yesterday. However, the Agency for Health Care Administration released a statement yesterday to say that they were expanding telemedicine services for children under medicaid to include therapists during this state of emergency. Our other insurance companies are also working to make this service available to you.

This means that, using real-time audio and video across the internet, our therapists can continue to provide therapy services for you while you remain in the safety of your homes. We will spend the next week implementing a telemedicine delivery format and hope to begin providing remote therapy services by the week beginning March 30.

We will be contacting our clients in due course with more information. We are committed to continuing to provide services for you, our families, and thank you for your understanding in these uncertain times. In the meantime, stay safe!

Warmly

Peter and Lyn Bennett
